Gas Substation Tank Install

A Maryland Institution

Baltimore Gas and Electric Company serves more than 1.25 million business and residential electric customers and more than 650,000 gas customers, encompassing Baltimore City and all or part of 10 central Maryland counties.

A Mighty Installation

United Crane & Rigging helped keep the gas on by recently setting a 115,000 lb. tank at a BGE substation in Phoenix, MD.

The tank was set at a 30 ft. radius with our 360-ton Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 configured with 112 ft. of boom and 212,000 lbs. of counterweight.
